Olivia's first ice cream cone !

Olivia had her 1st ice cream cone today! she loved it ...Obviously! Also today she picked up a few noodles and ate them :)


Also today ( 4/24/09) My old friend Stephanie from High school came to dinner. I havn't seen her in 5 years! It was a lot of fun...he played the wii fit for a while too and she played with olivia til she was exhausted!

Weight loss so far! ( 6.5 months PP)

Ok so me and George have been trying to loose weight over the past few months. I gained 55 lbs while pregnant! I am down alot...I have 4 lbs to be preprego weight. I also want to loose another 20+ lbs on top of that! But most impressive is I lost 4 inches on my tummy, 3 off my hips, .5 on my neck, and 2 on my chest! So I have lost 9 inches since january! And am proud to say I bought 5 new LARGE size tops...bye bye XL! :) I am trying to eat 1200 calories a day and not go out to eat...so far so good! Also I am trying to walk at least 1 mile daily :)

Day at the park with Friends

On Sunday We went to Merritt Park in Dundalk. It was alot of fun George and Chris played basket ball and me and ang played with Olivia on the swings and took lots of photos of her having fun! :) I can't believe she is almost 7 months old! It is flying by, It feels like yesterday I was still pregnant!

I also went shopping today and was able to buy (L) tops! I am so happy. I have 4 lbs to loose to be pre pregnancy weight! I would love to loose 20+ lbs total :) !

Soldier's Delight national park 4/18/09

Today we went to the bird photo shoot at soldiers delight park. I got a lot of great shots! ENJOY!

I went with my mom, my aunt and my wonderful sister in law. It is always so beautiful at Soldiers delight...the terrain is different then most park b/c it is mostly flat and covered in serpentine rock. After the park we went to Red Robin...they messed up my order but oh well :P

Longwood Gardens 4/16/2009

Today was the first day that it has been nice all week! It was 72 degrees here! I went to Longwood gardens in PA again today ( this was my third time that I have been , ever) I love it there. It was for the spring blooms part of it. I love how peaceful it is there. Hopefully when we move...it is to somewhere in Western MD or PA :0).







I can't believe Olivia is 6 1/2 months old already! We took her to the Dr also today b/c she has a cold...and she was 19.2 lbs and 28 1/4 inches :) I can't believe how much I love her more and more everyday. Also She can say MAMA DADA BABA and Blah! ( She doesn't know what they are but she says them! ) Also she says MAMA more when she is sad....it is like "cry cry cry MAAAA MAAAA " It is so cute!

Rain Rain go away!

Well the last two days it has rained 100% of the time! And of course Direct TV doesn't work when it rains.... *rolls eyes* when do you watch the most TV? WHEN it rains! Duh! I can't wait til George switches us to fios! ( come on Verizon...get it to us soon!)

But for the last 4 days I have been eating properly! I have been trying to stay under 1200 calories and and drinking GNC lean shake for breakfast and some times lunch! Also I am taking B6 to help with energy, I love it! Also it is done wonders for my period cramps!. Also for the past week we have eaten dinner at home...I feel so motivated to lose weight finally. I hope I can loose 20+ lbs over the next few months :0)!

Also I am taking Olivia to the DR later b/c she is sick and now coughing...poor little thing! *hugs*

Dyed Easter Eggs!

On Saturday me, George and Olivia dyed Easter eggs for the first time as a family! It was so fun.










I had her hold the crayon and I moved the egg around :0)

Easter and Family time

Easter was this past Sunday and we went to Michelle's house for the family gathering ( my side) It is the first time she hosted it, she did a good job. The food was the same as always ( food I hate) I do not like Polish food or ham EWW so I ate my normal potato salad sandwich.

Also we took a bunch of photos of the family together. 4-5 GENERATIONS!

Also on Easter we went to George's family as well. It was nice ate all the yummy turkey and stuffing :0). Also we got to see the inlaws and other kids.


(This is Olivia and her cousin Jillian..they are 3 weeks apart in age! So cute!)



All in all Olivia's FIRST Easter was a great holiday! :0)

New camera??

Well today George offered to buy me a new Olympus camera. The E-620 is out and looks GREAT! My camera is 3-4 years old and retired now. I think I should get the new camera since more people want me to take there portraits! I am excited I have a few people who want me to take photos this spring/summer.......Even someone from Philly is meeting me half way for me to take photo's of her family! I am excited and very nervous, Am I good enough??? Also If I get the new camera and get licensed as a hobby the cost would be a tax write off, so that would be cool too!Also my external flash should be here soon, it is a belated birthday gift from George :)

The boy in the striped pajamas

I bought that book yesterday and read it already! I was so captured by the story of the two young boys. It really opened my eyes to the holocaust and what really happened there. It is one thing to read history books about it, but to learn and grow thru the eyes of a child is a totally different view. It was a wonderful book, sad and moving. I would give it 4.5/ 5 stars! Totally worth reading it one weekend.

Picnic and Park fun !

Today we went to a church picnic, It was a friends church..not ours. It was a lot of fun, the weather was beautiful. George and frank and the other guys played softball and had fun together, while Kelly and Olivia played together. It was so sunny that the sunscreen didn't even help her poor little cheeks...she has minor sunburn ( Her first time...Poor baby and bad mommy lol) I tried to cook on the grill with charcoal...the first time for that and I almost burned my eyebrows off! After a long time food was finally done and we feasted, the first cookout of this season!

Also today I went to Home depot and bought some pansy's and some snap dragons as well as some herbs! I have spring fever for sure, I made George watch Olivia for 1-2 hours while I gardened away... I hope they take and we are past the threat of frost.

Weekend trip to Longwood Gardens

We left late friday night to go to Kennett Square PA for Longwood gardens. I went there on Monday already for the orchid display...I loved it so much I bought a garden pass ( yearly membership). So I dragged the hubby back there on Saturday. Friday night was the first night we took Olivia away from the house over night... Not easy! She refused to sleep in the pack/play...and had to sleep btwn us...Not romantic lol. So on a few hours of sleep we week to Longwood Gardens and some stores near by. I think it is the prettiest place I have ever seen...But don't take my word for it...Check out my photos!

4/2/2009- Day at the park

Olivia is 6 months old and loving the outdoors! We went to Merritt park to see the blooming weeping cherry blossom tree, it was beautiful. She is the greatest little girl in the world...I got my first hug the other day when we went to mommy and me swimming! She held onto me I wanted to cry.







Also today Olivia had her first cookie! She seems to like them a lot :)




I am excited My hubby ordered my external flash for my camera yesterday ...I can't wait to get it in...I would love LOVE to have a career as a professional photographer!
